Case Studies

Client: Owner Of Large Apartment
Objective: Move To Storage Unit
Time Frame: 16 hours

As this apartment was going to be sublet, the homeowner wanted to pack and move those household items that were to be kept to an outside storage facility. The creation of a logical and efficient plan to manage this move was required as there were only 2 days to prep for the pickup. This process was further complicated by the need to sort through a large collection of household items belonging to various family members that had accumulated in the apartment over time.

After:
  • A final disposition was made for all items yet to be packed in each pile
  • All boxes were packed, labeled and ready for pickup in advance of the scheduled pickup time
  • A large group of miscellaneous household items and clothing were donated to a local charity
Before:
  • Lack of a definitive plan of attack for tackling this task
  • Piles of boxes, clothing and household items were scattered throughout the apartment
  • Items that needed to be included in this task still had to be gathered from other rooms

Client Reaction:"Stephanie’s ability to set realistic goals and to keep me focused on the specific task was amazing. Without her guidance and assistance, I would never have been ready for the move to the storage unit in time."
