Case Studies

Client: Life Coach
Objective: Organize Storage Closet
Time Frame: 2 Hours

One of the great features of this small office was its walk-in storage closet.  However, this closet was not being used effectively as a couple of the shelves contained very few items while others were overflowing.  As the closet contained a diverse assortment of items from office supplies to books to shoes, the challenge was to maximize the space while keeping all items accessible and leaving room for expansion.

After:
  • Assigned a specific location for each group of items
  • Installed a second bookcase for increased storage capacity
  • Sorted the files discarding outdated information
  • Stored binder clips and other small office supplies in open slots in the shoe bag
Before:
  • Bookcase was jammed packed with books and assorted items
  • Under utilized storage shelves
  • Personal items were mixed in with work materials and supplies
  • Files were spilling out of storage container

Client Reaction:

"Stephanie burst into my office and in two hours all the stuff I never use was gone, the important things in plain site and easy to reach and I felt like a new person.  it was quick, sensitive, painless and gave me a whole new lease on my career.  She is a miracle worker."
